Operational Support Services

Being part of our Multi Academy Trust unlocks a wealth of central services designed to streamline school operations and free up valuable time and resources for what matters most – the children in our Trust.

The Trust's centralised finance team offers a robust support system to secure robust financial health and efficiency for schools. The team is led by the Chief Finance and Operations Officer who takes a strategic approach to finance and resource management, working closely with headteachers and governing bodies and ensuring that schools have the right places, people and resources they need to deliver an excellent education for pupils.

Working with the CFOO, the finance team provide a comprehensive service to schools from managing requisitions through to invoice processing and bank reconciliation within the Trust's defined financial procedures, schools' agreed budget plans and Academy Trust financial regulations.

The Trust Catering Management Service - EatRight@Pioneer - is committed to providing the highest quality food in accordance with School Food Regulations. Our service manager supports school kitchens both within the Trust and with schools brokering the service under a Service Level Agreement, ensuring that schools offer nutritious and cost-effective meal options for pupils and staff. Schools benefit from economies of scale, ensuring high-quality food at a competitive price.

The Trust's Premises Team work together to ensure that schools are safe and well maintained, providing effective learning and working spaces for pupils and staff. The team ensures that buildings are well maintained and in a good state of repair, in addition to being fully health and safety compliant. This ensures that school leaders can dedicate more time focused on the core business of teaching and learning.

The dedicated Human Resources Team provide expert guidance and support on all personnel matters, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. This not only reduces schools' administrative burdens but also ensures access to the latest best practice in human resources.

Our IT Services Team provides a reliable and secure technology infrastructure. From network management to software support and equipment procurement, our support team ensure that each school has the tools and resources necessary for effective learning in the digital age.

Through effective engagement with our Central Support Services, schools gain access to a team of specialists who handle the back-office functions, allowing senior teams and all staff to dedicate their energy to providing the best possible educational experience for our pupils.  Schools wishing to work with us may be able to access these services through a Traded Service model under a Service Level Agreement.  Contact us for more information.
