Overview:
Situated in the north of Luton Whitefield Primary Academy is a highly inclusive and welcoming school. Our tagline is ‘Respecting others and being the best we can be’ and we do this through our values based education. As a values based school our children are empowered to love learning and our school community is happy and harmonious and an engaging place where children feel secure. We are part of the Pioneer Learning Trust and work closely with and alongside the other 2 schools in the Trust.
Our dedicated staff team are committed to ensuring that all our pupils share their enthusiasm for learning and our values are reflected in all aspects of school life. We provide support and nurture for our children and families through our Family and Nurture Teams.
Reading is at the heart of our curriculum and the books in the curriculum have been specifically chosen to broaden pupil’s thoughts and ideas of different cultures and periods of time. We provide children with real-life experiences for writing through our Forest Schools programme and our WOW experiences and trips.
As part of the North Area Partnership Whitefield works closely with the other schools across the partnership and is home to The Lantern, a provision that supports children and families from schools across the North Area.
At Whitefield Primary Academy every individual is valued for who they are and what they contribute to the school and we work together to provide an environment where every child has an equal opportunity to learn, to reach their full potential and become a responsible citizen.
